Edoardo Fiore

I keep infrastructure alive by day
and build my own tools by night.

Systems engineer at OPIQUAD  ·  Creator of MADMIN

About.

I'm a systems & infrastructure engineer from Lombardy, Italy. Fresh out of school I joined the technical department at OPIQUAD, and I've been living between networks, hypervisors and Linux boxes ever since — designing, automating and occasionally rescuing the systems businesses run on.

In 2024 I spent two months in Chicago migrating a datacenter from VMware to Proxmox — proof that infrastructure speaks the same language everywhere. And when the tool I need doesn't exist, I just build it: that's how MADMIN was born.

Active development

MADMIN

A modular, high-performance admin dashboard for Linux servers. Real-time monitoring, firewall orchestration, VPN modules (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec), 2FA-secured, fully plugin-based — built from scratch because nothing out there did it right.

Beyond the terminal.

Gaming

Where the whole computer thing started — still my favorite way to unwind.

3D Modeling & Printing

From CAD to the print bed — designing parts that (usually) fit on the first try.

Programming

Building tools that solve my own problems first — then sharing them with everyone.

Artificial Intelligence

Exploring how AI can multiply what a single builder can ship.

Karate

Third-dan black belt and certified coach at Bushi Karate-do in Valletta Brianza — the discipline that keeps everything else sharp.

Two Wheels

A Triumph Trident 660 and a winding road — the best debugger I know. Some problems only get solved at lean angle.
